Safe Play First

Responsible Gambling at PKR67

Gambling is entertainment — nothing more, nothing less. At PKR67, responsible play is not a legal footnote: it is the foundation of everything we do. This guide gives every Pakistani user the tools, knowledge and honest information to keep gambling in its proper place.

PKR67 is committed to 18+ access, fair play and safer gambling for all users.

Gambling Responsibly Is the Only Way to Gamble

At PKR67, we believe the single most important conversation we can have with Pakistani users is not about welcome bonuses or cricket odds — it is about keeping gambling enjoyable, controlled and within limits that you set yourself before you place a single bet.

Whether you are following a PSL T20 fixture from Lahore, backing a Pakistan cricket match during an ICC tournament, or exploring live casino games late at night in Karachi, the same principle applies: your session should have a defined budget, a defined time limit and a clear understanding that the house edge means losses are the statistical norm over the long run. No strategy changes that fundamental reality.

This page explains the tools available to help you stay in control, the warning signs that gambling may be becoming problematic and how to access help if you need it. Please read it carefully — not because it is a legal requirement, but because it matters.

  • Gambling should always cost only what you can genuinely afford to lose.
  • Chasing losses almost always makes the situation worse, not better.
  • Setting limits before you start is significantly more effective than during a session.
  • If the fun stops, the session should stop too — no exceptions.
  • Responsible gambling tools are free to use and available inside your account at any time.
Why Safe Play Tools Matter
Users who set deposit limits before playing 67%
Players who use session timers report better control 78%
Self-exclusion success rate when combined with support 85%
Problem gamblers who benefit from early intervention 91%

Figures are illustrative estimates based on published responsible gambling research. They are intended to demonstrate the general effectiveness of safe play tools — not to represent PKR67-specific data.

Legal Reminder for Pakistani Users

Pakistan's Prevention of Gambling Act 1977 and related legislation may restrict or prohibit participation in online gambling. PKR67 does not provide legal advice. Users are responsible for compliance with all applicable local laws.

🔞

Strictly 18+ Access — No Exceptions

PKR67 maintains a strict adults-only access policy. Users must be at least 18 years of age — or the higher minimum required by the relevant operator or licence jurisdiction — to register and use this Platform. This requirement is non-negotiable and is actively enforced through age verification checks throughout the account lifecycle.

Identity Verification at Registration

All new users are required to confirm their date of birth at registration. KYC document submission — including a Pakistani CNIC or passport — may be required to verify age before deposit or withdrawal access is granted.

Ongoing Verification Checks

Age and identity checks can be triggered at any point during the user lifecycle — not only at registration. If verification documents are not provided within the required timeframe, account access may be restricted.

Under-Age Account Closure

Any account found to belong to a user under the minimum required age will be closed immediately. Any deposits held will be returned in accordance with applicable regulations. No bonus funds will be eligible for withdrawal in such cases.

Parental controls: If you share a device with children or young people in your household — in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad or anywhere else in Pakistan — we strongly encourage the use of device-level parental control software to prevent minors from accessing gambling platforms. PKR67 does not provide parental control software directly but acknowledges the importance of this measure.

Tools That Keep You in Control

The most effective responsible gambling tools are the ones you set up before you begin. Each tool below is available within your account settings at no cost. We recommend configuring at least one limit before your first session.

01
Deposit Limits

Set a maximum deposit amount per day, week or month — in PKR — and the system will prevent you from depositing beyond that cap during the relevant period. Increases to a limit take effect after a cooling-off period; reductions take effect immediately.

Effective immediately. Increases delayed by 24–72 hours.
02
Loss Limits

A loss limit caps the total net amount you can lose within a defined period. Once you reach your limit — whether that is PKR 5,000 per day or PKR 20,000 per month — further play is paused until the period resets. This is one of the most powerful tools for preventing runaway losing sessions.

Protects your budget when variance runs against you.
03
Session Time Limits

Set a maximum session duration — for example, 60 or 90 minutes — and the Platform will automatically end your session when that time is reached, regardless of your current balance. Extended late-night sessions are a common warning sign; this tool prevents them from developing.

Automatically logs you out when the timer expires.
04
Reality Checks

Reality check notifications appear on-screen at regular intervals — every 15, 30 or 60 minutes — displaying your session duration, total wagers placed and net position for that session. The prompt gives you an honest picture and the option to stop or continue with full awareness.

Interrupts "auto-pilot" play with factual session data.
05
Cooling-Off Period

A cooling-off period temporarily suspends your account access for a defined duration — typically between 24 hours and 30 days. No bets can be placed, no deposits made and no bonuses claimed during this period. Cooling-off is immediate upon request and cannot be reversed during the active period.

Activates immediately and cannot be shortened once set.
06
Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is the most serious tool available and should be used when gambling is causing genuine harm. It permanently or long-term restricts all access to the Platform — typically for 6 months, 1 year, 5 years or permanently. Once activated, it cannot be reversed during the minimum exclusion period, regardless of circumstances.

Permanent options available. Irreversible for the minimum period.

How to Set Up Your Safe Play Limits

Setting up responsible gambling limits takes less than two minutes. There is no penalty for using these tools — they are free, always available and we actively encourage every user to configure at least one before their first session. Here is how to access them on a typical platform:

Note: The exact navigation may vary slightly between different operators. If you cannot locate the responsible gambling section, contact the operator's support team directly and request assistance — they are obligated to help.

1
Log in to your account

Navigate to the platform and sign in using your registered credentials. Ensure you are on the official platform — check the URL carefully before logging in.

2
Go to Account Settings

Click on your account icon (top right corner on most platforms) and select "Account Settings", "My Account" or "Profile" from the dropdown menu.

3
Find "Responsible Gambling" or "Safe Play" section

Look for a dedicated Responsible Gambling, Safe Play or Player Protection section within your account settings. On most platforms this is prominently displayed, not hidden in fine print.

4
Set your limits in PKR

Enter your chosen deposit limit, loss limit or session time. Use PKR amounts that reflect a budget you can genuinely afford to lose — not what you hope to win. Recommended starting point: no more than 1–2% of monthly disposable income as a total gambling budget.

5
Confirm and save

Confirm your settings. Deposit and loss limit reductions take effect immediately. Increases require a cooling-off period (usually 24–72 hours) to prevent impulsive changes during a losing session.

6
Review your limits regularly

Responsible gambling is not a one-time setup. Review your limits every month — particularly if your financial circumstances change. If you have had a difficult month or are feeling financial stress, reduce your limits proactively rather than reactively.

Recognising Problem Gambling Early

Problem gambling does not always look like crisis. It often develops gradually — a slightly larger deposit here, a slightly later session there. Recognising the early warning signs makes intervention far more effective. The questions below are designed to help you assess honestly whether your gambling remains entertainment or whether it has started to become something more concerning.

If you answer "yes" to two or more of the questions in the accordion, we strongly encourage you to activate a cooling-off period or self-exclusion immediately and to seek support from a qualified organisation.

Quick Self-Check

  • Am I gambling with money intended for essential expenses?
  • Do I find myself lying about how much I have gambled?
  • Am I gambling to escape stress, anxiety or problems at home?
  • Have I borrowed money specifically to gamble?
  • Do I feel irritable or restless when I try to stop gambling?

If any of these apply, please read the full warning signs below and consider using the self-exclusion tool.

If you are depositing more than you intended, using money earmarked for household expenses, rent, school fees or other essential bills — or if you have dipped into savings to fund gambling — this is a serious warning sign. A responsible gambling budget should come exclusively from disposable income you can afford to lose entirely. PKR amounts that stretch household finances are too high, regardless of the size.

Chasing losses — placing more bets to try to win back what you have already lost — is one of the most common and dangerous patterns in problem gambling. The mathematics do not change: placing larger bets after losses increases both the pace and the scale of potential further losses. If you find yourself doubling stakes or extending sessions specifically to recover previous losses, please stop immediately and consider activating a cooling-off period.

Gambling sessions that regularly extend past midnight, or that begin to interfere with sleep, work or daily responsibilities, are a warning sign. Pakistani users who find themselves playing PSL cricket bets or live casino games until 2–3am on a regular basis should use session time limits to enforce a cut-off. Fatigue impairs decision-making and is associated with higher impulsive spending during gambling sessions.

If you feel the need to hide your gambling activity from family members, friends or a partner — or if you routinely minimise how much you spend when asked — this concealment behaviour is a strong indicator that gambling has moved beyond a recreational activity. Healthy recreational gambling does not typically require secrecy. If you are hiding your activity from those close to you, please take this seriously.

Using gambling as a way to manage stress, anxiety, boredom, depression or difficult life circumstances is a recognised pathway into problem gambling. If you find yourself logging into the Platform specifically because you are having a bad day — following a frustrating match result, financial stress or personal difficulties — please stop and seek a non-gambling outlet instead. Gambling in this state dramatically increases the likelihood of impulsive and disproportionate spending.

Borrowing money — from friends, family, banks or any other source — specifically to fund gambling is a critical warning sign of a problem that requires immediate intervention. Gambling with borrowed money substantially increases the financial and personal harm associated with losses. If you have borrowed money to gamble or are considering doing so, please activate self-exclusion immediately and seek qualified support.

Quick Gambling Health Check

Answer these questions honestly. This is not a diagnostic tool — it is a prompt for honest self-reflection. No data is submitted or stored.

1 Do you gamble with more money than you originally intended to spend in a session?
2 Have you ever continued playing after deciding you would stop for the day?
3 Do you feel anxious or irritable when you are unable to gamble?
4 Has gambling ever caused you to neglect work, family or other responsibilities?
5 Have you tried to cut back on gambling but found it difficult to do so?

If you answered "Often" or "Almost always" to two or more questions, we strongly encourage you to use the self-exclusion tool and consider reaching out for support. This quiz is for self-reflection only — no responses are recorded or sent.

If You Need Support, Please Act Now

Reaching out for help is not a weakness — it is the most responsible thing you can do. The resources below provide qualified support for problem gambling. These are text-only references; PKR67 does not have a commercial relationship with any support organisation mentioned.

Gamblers Anonymous (International)

Gamblers Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to help solve their common problem with compulsive gambling. International meetings and resources are available to Pakistani users seeking peer-support. Organisation name only — users should seek the relevant local chapter or online meeting independently.

Umang helpline (Pakistan)

Umang is a Pakistan-based mental health helpline that provides confidential psychological support, including counselling for behavioural issues, stress and anxiety. While not exclusively a gambling helpline, behavioural addiction — including problem gambling — falls within the scope of mental health support. This is a text-only reference; contact information should be sourced independently.

Licensed Mental Health Professionals (Pakistan)

A qualified psychologist or clinical therapist — available in major Pakistani cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi — can provide CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and other evidence-based interventions for problem gambling. The Pakistan Association of Mental Health (PAMH) is one reference point for locating qualified practitioners.

Self-exclusion is always available. To exclude yourself from the PKR67 Platform, go to Account Settings > Responsible Gambling > Self-Exclusion. This takes effect immediately. For support requests, email us at [email protected] — please include "Self-Exclusion Request" in your subject line.

PKR67's Golden Rules for Responsible Play

💰
Only Gamble What You Can Afford to Lose

Set a gambling budget from your discretionary income only. Whether it is PKR 500 or PKR 5,000 — once it is gone, your session ends. No exceptions.

⏱️
Set a Time Limit and Stick to It

Decide how long your session will last before you begin. One hour is a reasonable upper limit for most sessions. Use the session timer to enforce it automatically.

🚫
Never Chase Losses

Losses are part of the game. Chasing them with larger bets or longer sessions is the fastest path to a problem. Accept losses as the cost of entertainment and walk away.

🔄
Take Regular Breaks

Step away from the platform regularly — between sessions and during them. Physical activity, time with family or a simple change of activity provides healthy perspective that continuous play never will.

🎰
Treat It as Entertainment

Gambling is not a financial strategy and it is not a reliable source of income. It is entertainment with a cost — plan for that cost the same way you would plan for a cricket match ticket or a dinner out.

🧠
Never Gamble When Emotional

Stress, anxiety, grief, anger and even extreme excitement impair rational decision-making. If your emotional state is elevated for any reason, this is the wrong time to gamble.

🤝
Be Honest with Yourself

Honest self-reflection is the foundation of responsible gambling. If you would be uncomfortable describing your gambling behaviour to a trusted family member, consider why — and whether change is needed.

🆘
Ask for Help Early

The earlier you seek help for problem gambling, the more effective the intervention. Do not wait until the problem is severe. Self-exclusion and support are available the moment you feel you need them.
